Economy -- Who can handle it better??

We have this word going abuzz since two years now "Bidenomics". It's coined by Biden supporters who are strongly of the opinion that Biden's economic policies have indeed worked quite well, in these last 3 and a half years. Let's dig deeper and analyse this carefully.

Joe Biden became the 46th President of the United States on 20th January, 2021. He had promised a lot during his campaign for being the President on the economic front. His supporters, even as on today claim that his economic policies have worked very well in the last 3+ years. They have coined a specific word "BIDENOMICS" which stands for Biden's Economics. They argue that due to Bidenomics the country is far more prosperous than what it was under Trump. The main point of their argument is that the US Stock markets are performing very well under Biden. The DOW JONES index has already gone above 40,000 for the first time in its history. The NASDAQ is also forging ahead. Stocks of several, companies like Meta, Alphabet, etc. have appreciated a lot in this period. The other argument they make is the average pay checks of Americans have gone high!!

On the flipside, the Trump supporters claim that Bidenomics has been a disaster. They say that the Average Cost of Living of Americans have gone up substantially ever since the Russia-Ukraine War broke out in February 2022. The prices of Crude Oil went up sharply at that time everywhere and almost all countries started facing troubles on the economic front but for most of them it was a temporary one. Their troubles disappeared after some time as the Crude Oil prices came down. These governments were smart enough to handle their economy in such a way that the average cost of living of their citizens too came down as quickly as it had gone up. But that was not the case with the US. Here, the prices of essentials like Gas, food items, electricity, rose very high in February 2022. After that they have come down, but just marginally. On the other hand, the paycheck of an average American has not appreciated that much as what the Average Cost of Living has. The result is most people are finding it difficult to make their ends meet. Their Net Expenses are more than their Net Incomes and hence so many have resorted to borrowing. This has eventually increased their debts and hence so many of them are living a burdensome life right now, where a huge amount of debt, including a big sum of interest, is awaiting to be paid by them! This is a nasty scenario, which definitely was not there, when Trump was President. People had enough money to buy things and were not forced to borrow from here and there. Bidenomics has made most Americans debt-ridden and has made their lives lackluster.

The Exports from the ports of the US has increased considerably, according to blue voters.
