Chapter 2 - Donald Trump and his Chances of Winning

Having discussed all the Fact-checking revelations it's now time to focus on both the candidates aspiring for the presidency. I think it will be apt for me now to closely examine the chances of each candidate, by picking them exactly in the same order of their popularity reflected from latest poll results. Based on that, Donald Trump is the first one as he is seen leading in all the poll figures throughout the country as on today, May 28, 2024. 

Donald J. Trump, popularly known as Trump obviously needs no introduction. For a lot of Americans, he is a national hero, who has vowed to "Make America Great Again", a person whom they love and admire so much, the one they feel so proud about. For them, he is the only beacon of hope, after the disastrous 3 years of Biden Administration. In contrast to this, there exists an entire and huge group of people for whom - he is a thug, who committed a horrendous crime of inciting the mob at the Capitol Hill on the 6th of January, 2021, who was responsible for magnifying the national debt of US to levels never seen before during his presidency, the one who doesn't carry the decency of being a President of such a great country. These  people hate him as severely as what the first kind mentioned above, love him! What a contrast, isn't it? But, this shows what a character he is!!! 

He is a nationalist, by default. I personally believe that those who really love America, most of them love Trump. Patriots all over the country are crazy to see him as President once again in '24 despite some severe indictments he is facing right now. These patriots are confident that Donald Trump will be freed from all the allegations and indictments in due course of time, fight the presidential election with full might and ultimately win back the designation of the POTUS (President Of The United States). They also believe that this designation was illegally stolen away from him through unfair means by Joe Biden, his co-conspirators and the deep state. Winning back the presidency would be his revenge, his true redemption after all. 

On the other hand, those who hate him are waiting for what they prefer to call "the last nail on the coffin" of his chances to regain the presidency. They want him to get imprisoned for a life time and to disappear from public life forever. In fact, it seems Joe Biden is trying very hard since 10 months to silence Trump by implicating upon him various charges one by one and seeing to it that his legal troubles never end. All his rivals want that either Trump ends up in a jail or breaks down mentally so much so that he just gives up the idea of running for the highest job. But interestingly, none of these has happened until now in the last 10 months!! Despite 4 indictments and 91 felony charges, Trump is still not in any kind of jail. I remember his bitter critics last year in September, saying things like "This guy will be in some jail definitely by March '24 in some case or the other. His past deeds are haunting him so bad that he can not remain outside jail now for a long time." They used to say such things on social media as well as offline too, not just in the US but throughout the globe. But lo behold...! The truth is quite different - Leave March 2024, Trump is still not inside any jail even two months after that as I write this on May 28, 2024 and there are absolutely no signs of him going to any jail in the next few months atleast. If Trump can save his ass from this trouble until the presidential election and then win it, he can go for a huge Self-pardoning executive order, consequent of which all 4 indictments and those 91 felony charges, which appear quite big as of now, will go away just in a few seconds!!! Trump and his allies are waiting exactly for that to happen and they seem to be winning right now! A huge bunch of people including Fani Willis, Stormy Daniels, E.Jean Carroll, Michael Cohen and so many others are so desperate to see Trump getting defeated in atleast one legal case and going to jail. He might be losing some case here and there and being asked to pay millions of dollars as a reimbursement. But none of those cases have proven to be yet so powerful enough, that he is seen behind bars. Amazing, isn't it!!! 

As per my perception, amongst the 4 indictments he is facing, he has already gone through 3 of them and passed them without an immediate jail sentence. I am using the term immediate here because, all of those 3 cases are not completely over yet. 2 of them have halted for a while and will restart in September or even October. The 4th indictment which is going on right now, is that of the Hush Money Trial. This trial has been going on and on for more than a month now. This inexplicable delay in finishing up this legal case seems to be deliberate and it also seems Biden and his team is trying its best to interfere Trump in his self-campaigning efforts for the forthcoming presidential elections. This is unjust and needs further investigation. 

Once this 4th indictment and the resumption of those 2 pending indictments is over, Trump will be able to march on for campaigning for himself for one final time - an ultimate push for regaining the presidency. That seems to be happening in October this year. If everything goes according to his plan, the deep state's illegal stealing away of the results of the election results somehow go away, then Trump can watch people greeting him at the Capitol Hill in Washington DC on January 20, 2024 as the 47th President. At present, when I am writing this on May 28, 2024, this seems to be happening next year. However, Politics is such a volatile game. Any thing can happen any time. Those who seem to losing today can turn out to be winners tomorrow. Joe Biden can still turn around things in his favor and win these elections, who knows. 

Interestingly, those who want the worst things to happen to Trump are exactly those who got fired by him during his term as President. These include the likes of former NewJersey Governor Chris Christie, former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, former FBI Director James Comey, Michael Cohen and a whole bunch of others. The reason for saying "a whole bunch of others" is because Trump made innumerable enemies during his tenure, either by firing away from their designations or by name-calling or by mocking or ridiculing them. Some ignored all that, but quite a few of them eventually seemed to have taken a private pledge to reduce him to nothing, come what may. Political rivalry is not the same as animosity. If Mr.X and Mr.Y are political rivals, it does not mean they are "enemies" of each other in real life too. They can keep their rivalry limited to politics only, and live & let live each other peacefully. But some crazy people just do not understand this. They extend their political rivalry to an extent that it becomes animosity which means they end up being "bitter enemies" of their opposite numbers. 

Trump would have never thought in his wildest dreams, that during his presidency he would be creating so many enemies. But the fact is, he did! That is because of his inborn nature of 'revealing the truth' and 'fighting the wrong', come what may. In this context, undoubtedly he is a patriot, a great man, who truly loves America from the bottom of his heart. He wants to do a lot for his country, solve most of its issues if given a second chance. But he is surrounded by more "practical" and also at the same time, "morally wrong" guys. These guys are shameless from within and highly selfish. They can go to any extent to get rid of their rivals or to reduce his existence to pieces. Trump has a huge existence in this world, a huge status in terms of his wealth, his past as an established Real Estate agent in the city of NewYork and above all his stature as a previous President of the United States. But despite all these, the dirty minds of his rivals, who are more practical and less humane than him, would be playing so many games, creating new puzzles for him. This tug of war game between Trump and his desperate rivals is incessant and also very interesting to watch, for political observers worldwide. 

These guys, viz. the opponents and rivals of Trump, know it within themselves that what they are doing for this country is morally wrong and what Trump is doing, is morally right. But their ego, their unnecessarily elevated self-esteem and their arrogance simply does not allow them to agree with Trump or support him. That's rather unfortunate, isn't it. Because if that would happen, if they would start agreeing with what Trump has been talking about in his rallies on a range of issues like Economy, Education, Border, Inflation, and all those things that matter to most Americans, then nobody can stop America from forging ahead by leaps and bounds once again...yes, I am saying this very confidently. But it's kinda Utopian situation. In other words, it's an idealistic situation very less likely to occur in real life. Only God Almighty knows if that would ever happen. As of now that seems unlikely. What seems likely is that it seems that Trump's all enemies and the Deep State will try and create an inescapable situation for him. They will leave no stone unturned to finish his political career and thus, Trump himself. The legal troubles of Trump are still not going away. Prayers from his supporters can help a lot.

So what is it that brought Donald Trump to this point that his conviction in atleast 1 out of the 4 indictments seems a reality right now? The answer is here: 

There are basically 2 types of people in this world - the first type is the one which while making decisions, think with their heart. Their decisions are based on emotion which are on a higher ground morally, of course. But practically speaking these decisions are vulnerable to those who do not think & decide emotionally and these people form the second type. These type of people, which while making decisions, think with their mind. Their heart has no role to play in the decision-making process. Hence these people are considered totally practical. The positive thing for them is that they end up on a higher platform in terms of worldly fulfillments like money, property, etc. and are in a much stronger position compared to those who think & decide with their hearts. But the negative for them is that, these selfish people, if and when they get exposed, get totally decimated by those who think & decide by their heart and by all others too. No doubt, they are the villains and hence they deserve the treatment which should be given to a villain, if their selfish acts get exposed. 

Trump is a man who belongs to the first type. While in the process of making a decision, he thinks and decides through his heart and keeps the distractions that emerge from his mind as much away as possible. The result is that the decisions which he takes are very good for his country but may have a reverse effect on himself, personally! He is a true nationalist and hence doesn't waste any time in lambasting away/ criticizing the wrongdoers, how so mighty he/she may be. But in that process, he is unaware of a practical fact that he just created a very bad enemy from that person who became the victim of his heavy criticism. This victim may decide in future to obstruct all activities of Trump anyhow, in whichever manner possible. In his efforts to clean up the system, Trump thus has created so many personal enemies (and that is highly unfortunate for this country because after all, his intentions have been very good.)

As the 2020 Election grew closer, Biden capitalized on this biggest weakness of Trump. He created a syndicate of those people who hated Trump, which included several from the Deep State too. They rigged the 2020 Presidential Election held across the 50 states. This is how Trump lost and Biden won!! Mostly it is the Truth that triumphs in the end, but in this case it lost!!😢

There is no guarantee that in the 2024 presidential elections too the same ugly saga won't get repeated. There is a big possibility of Biden again taking the help of the deep state in order to rig the result of this election too, and thus retaining his presidency for another 4 years. Trump has already warned all his supporters against this. So, what's the way out? Here it is: 

Dismantle "the deep state". I was presuming till now that you, the reader, must be knowing about it. But still for the sake of clarity let me tell you what the Deep State is. Here the word "deep" refers to the depth (and hence the magnitude) of the existence of unnecessary bureaucrats, working in the various departments of the US Federal government like the FBI for example. What these bureaucrats do is to interfere with almost every decision taken 

by the Commander-in-Chief i.e. the President of the United States, trying to change them or in some cases even overturn them. A person as powerful as the President can not do anything when the deep state is in action. He too is helpless because the deep state constitutes of multiple layers of such federal bureaucrats. 

In other words, it is actually the deep state 

that is running the government most of the time and not the President! He ends up being a puppet, if the deep state finds him to be weak. But if he is strong and decides to take on the deep state, as what Trump did, then there is every chance that they will collude together and manipulate the results of a presidential election so that that particular candidate who decided to challenge them, loses the contest anyhow. Thus, for any President it's not advisable to take on the deep state because your chances of winning against it are miniscule. But as said earlier, Trump has decided to fight against it and to remove it right from its roots. I consider this as outrageously bold on his part and a true endorsement of his patriotism. But there are some, who prefer to call this decision of Trump as foolish and unwise. Vivek Ramaswamy, a former presidential GOP candidate talks of shutting down the FBI, the Department of Education, the IRS and the NRA. Well, on paper this looks so very patriotic that you are asking to do away with everything that is hampering the growth of this nation. But it's extremely difficult to put all these into practice, i.e.shutting down all of them. Why? Because these corrupt people are interwoven, inter-connected very deeply. If you try to remove one, 10 others will object to your decision. Else why would the deep state flourish so much to the extent that they can even undermine presidential decisions? In the 248 years of American independence, there have been 46 Presidents so far. Most of them must have faced this trouble. Do you think any of them never tried to remove it by closing down the FBI and the other above-mentioned departments? They must have definitely thought about it but never tried doing that because it is extremely difficult.

Despite all these dark realities, Trump is up for it. He is ready to fight out the deep state along with Biden and his team. If he wins, it will be a rare feat because no US President has lost an election as an incumbent President and then won it again the very next time!! But, he can do it. Whether or not he will do it, depends upon his track record and his past too. Let's examine all these factors now.
